PART ONE
AND SO THE MARATHON BEGINS

30/09/09

Ok. I'm on a plane now, going to Sao Paulo. We will soon take off, and I feel... Weird.

I still can't believe it.

Ah, what the heck am I doing in a plane to Sao Paulo? Very simple. I'm going to a concert of my favorite band, Franz Ferdinand.

OMG WE ARE TAKING OFF.

How did I arrive here?

The answer to this question is also simple. It happened exactly two weeks ago, when I was on my group therapy and Gabriela told me she seen on @movethatjukebox's twitter that Franz was going to perform in Sao Paulo, outside the VMB awards.

I went crazy.

There was only 500 tickets, and it would be on a gay club called The Week, at Sao Paulo. That meant that I had to have an enourmous luck to get one ticket and I would have to fly to Sao Paulo. I called my mother immediately, and she told me that I could go to the gig, and that we could go to Sampa.

Little did I know that she was only agreeing on to this because she thought I wasn't going to make it on buying the tickets.

HOWEVER, for an enourmous luck, I got two of the 500 difficult tickets, and I can't describe how exhilarated I was. I was on the phone, being the call number 80, while my sister kept refreshing the page on the internet. When I was number 11, my sister managed to buy the tickets.

OMG. I was going to the Franz Ferdinand show.

Now all that was left was buying the tickets, and we took one week to get them - you can see that I got really nervous. But ok, we got them and now everything was alright - or not.

I am on exams week, and that made me loose my Algebra and Geometry today, Thursday. I came back from Sao Paulo at seven o'clock in the morning and I got on school at eight, and they didn't let me in because I have missed the exam (WTF?)

Nevertheless, enought with babbling about school (bleeergh) and back to Franz Ferdinand.

The post ends here. I need to finish studying (yees, bleeergh [2]) and after I'll continue it with something that really matters - the concert. And, how I almost touched Alex Kaprano's ass.

He. He.

Tonight: Franz in São Paulo

Yeah, I know, I promissed to blog something, and I haven't.
(my lame excuse is that I was on exams week - and I still am! - and that's why I wasn't able to write anything).

Well, Franz Ferdinand came to Brazil - AND I WENT TO THEIR GIG, A-HAAAA! - and in a couple minutes (erm, one hour is more probable) I shall make a new post with pictures and videos, and the full report of EVERYTHING that happened!

BEST CONCERT EVER.
